A note from Kristina

Hi, I'm Kristina.
I'm really glad you're here.

Before you decide whether I'm the right person for you, let me show you exactly what working together looks like: before, during and after your wedding day.

Before your wedding

It starts with a few questions.

Where you're getting married.

When it starts, and how many are coming.

How you imagine the day feeling.

You don't need all the answers yet.
We'll get there together.

A few weeks before, we'll go through your day together.

Where we need time. Where we don't. And where to leave a little room.

The goal isn't to build your wedding around photographs.

It's to make sure they fit so naturally that you never feel pulled away from your own day.

There's one thing I'm already thinking about while we plan.

The light.

3:42 pm sunset 6:51 pm

Here in the Caribbean, the light can change completely in under an hour. So I don't leave your portraits to chance. I work backwards from sunset, placing the important photographs where the day will look and feel its best.

You don't have to watch the sun. I will.

Light is only half of it.

Knowing where to find it is the other half.

I know where the afternoon light falls.

Which paths take longer than they look.

Where we can go if it rains.

And where I'd take you for five quiet minutes.

Your wedding shouldn't feel like my first day there.

150+ weddings across 84 venues

Sometimes, you'll need me.

I'll step in.

The family photographs.

The big group photo, done in minutes.

Your portraits, in the right light.

When you're not sure how to stand.

I'll guide you when it helps.

A quiet word when you need it.
Then I step back.

You should never feel like you're working for the camera.

But most of the day

you'll forget I'm there.

The ceremony.

The reactions.

The conversations you never saw.

I don't want to interrupt those moments.

I want you to live them.

That's when I step back.

Stepping back doesn't mean switching off.

I'm still watching.

The room.

The people around you.

What's about to happen, not only what's happening in front of me.

Quiet doesn't mean passive.

What I'm looking for

The small gesture no one asked for.

The faces watching you, not the camera.

The things you'll only find out happened later.

That's where your photographs become yours.

Documentary doesn't mean leaving everything to chance.

What I'll need from you.

The family groupings you want, in writing.

Who travelled the furthest to be there.

Anyone who might not be here next year.

You don't need to send me a checklist of photographs.
I do want to know who matters.

Weddings move.

Dinner runs late.

It rains for twenty minutes.

Someone disappears exactly when we need them for a photograph.

That's normal. Rain moves things. It doesn't cancel photographs, and some of the best light on this coast comes right after a storm.

My job isn't to force your wedding back onto a schedule.

It's to adapt without making the day feel like something went wrong.

When your wedding ends,

my work doesn't.

  1. 01 Everything is backed up that same night
  2. 02 The story is selected and edited
  3. 03 You see your full collection
  4. 04 You choose the photographs to be retouched
  5. 05 Your finished collection is delivered

Your finished photographs arrive within 45 business days of your selection.

This is where your wedding becomes something you can come back to.

Anything I haven't answered?

Will you tell us what to do?

When it helps, yes. Where to stand, which way the light is better, one beat longer in a hug. Never so much that your wedding turns into a photo shoot.

What if we feel awkward in photos?

Almost everyone says that. It usually lasts about ten minutes. I keep the direction small and specific, so you always know what to do without thinking about it.

Do you need a shot list?

Only for family groupings, and those I do want in writing so nobody is missing. For everything else a list works against you: it turns your day into a checklist.

What happens if it rains?

Rain moves the ceremony, it does not cancel the photographs. Resorts here have covered alternatives and your planner will have a plan B, and I work with it. Some of the best light comes right after a storm.

What if the day runs late?

Most weddings do, a little. We build the timeline with room in it, so the important photographs are protected even when dinner starts twenty minutes behind.

How much coverage do we actually need?

It depends where the day starts and how late you want the dancing. Six hours covers getting ready through the first part of the reception; eight covers the whole arc. Tell me your schedule and I will say honestly what I would do.

When do we receive our photographs?

You will see your full collection first and choose the images you want retouched. Your finished photographs are delivered within 45 business days of that selection.

How do we book you?

With a signed agreement and a 30% retainer (plus tax), which holds your date. The balance is settled on the wedding day. Until the retainer is in, the date stays open.

What if we have to cancel or move the date?

The retainer is non-refundable: it is what takes your date off the calendar for everyone else. If you need to move the date, tell me as early as you can and we will look at availability together.

Do you travel outside the Riviera Maya?

Yes. Cancun, Playa Mujeres, Tulum and everything in between is home, and I photograph Los Cabos and Punta Mita regularly. Anywhere else in Mexico, or abroad, is a conversation: tell me where and when, and I will quote travel and stay together with the collection, with nothing hidden.

One last thing

You get to be at
your wedding.

Your only job is to live it.
Mine is to notice everything worth remembering.
