What this page covers
This is the privacy policy for diptychstudio.com, the website of Diptych Studio. It describes what the site collects, why, and who else sees it. It is written to match what the site actually does.
If you only browse, the site does not ask you for anything and does not try to identify you.
The inquiry form
When you write through the contact form, we store what you send: your name, your email, your wedding date if you give one, the venue, and your message. It is kept so Kristina can reply and follow up on your wedding.
The form saves your answers as you go, so you can come back and continue where you left off. Those answers stay in your own browser, and are also saved with us from the moment you give a name and an email, so that an unfinished inquiry is not lost.
We do not sell this information and we do not use it for advertising. You can ask us to delete it at any time by writing to Contact@diptychstudio.com.
The studio assistant
The site has an assistant you can chat with. Before it answers, it asks for a name and an email so Kristina can follow up.
What you write in that chat is sent to Anthropic, the company that provides the language model, so it can produce an answer. It is also stored with us as part of your inquiry. Do not send anything through it that you would not want kept: payment details, documents or identification never belong in a chat box.
The conversation stays in your browser for two weeks so you can pick it up again.
Who else is involved
Cloudflare protects the site and checks that forms are filled by people and not by robots.
The website runs on our own server. When an inquiry arrives, a notification is sent to the studio through ntfy, a notification service, carrying the details of your message.
Photographs are served from our own server. There are no advertising trackers and no social network pixels on this site.
Some pages show a wedding film or a short reel. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play: what you see before that is a still image served from our own server. Once you press play, YouTube receives the request and its own terms apply, which is why we use its no-cookie player.
Cookies and what is stored in your browser
The site does not use advertising cookies. What it does store in your own browser are small conveniences: the answers you have typed in the form, the conversation with the assistant, and whether you have already asked to see the collections. That information stays on your device and you can clear it from your browser at any time.
Photographs of weddings
The weddings published on this site are shown with the agreement of the couples. If you are in one of these photographs and would like it removed, write to Contact@diptychstudio.com and it comes down.
Your requests
Write to Contact@diptychstudio.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We answer personally.
